The Experience

Unveil the natural wonders and hidden gems of Tasmania on this unique 6-day tour, designed to visit our famous icons as well as unique experiences off the radar of most visitors. Tours around Tasmania's meticulously designed tour will immerse you in the breathtaking landscapes, rich history, and exquisite cuisine of this remarkable island.

This is more than a tour, it's an immersive experience that takes you on a journey of discovery, connecting with the essence of this extraordinary island. From its iconic destinations to its hidden treasures, Tasmania unveils its secrets, leaving an indelible impression on your heart and soul.

Day One

Start your tour with a historic walking experience through nipaluna/Hobart, taking in the sights and history of our beautiful capital city. In the afternoon, we'll enjoy stunning views of Hobart and surrounds from the summit of kunanyi/ Mt Wellington. In the evening, be joined by your guide for a Welcome dinner at Hadley's Orient Hotel.

Day Two

Today you'll see firsthand what it feels like to be a local, as you explore the world-famous Salamanca Markets, one of the largest outdoor markets in Australia, there's something for everyone at Salamanca! The afternoon presents MONA, the largest privately owned museum in the Southern Hemisphere. Enjoy the full experience with a ferry to and from at your leisure.

Day Three

Explore the stunning turrakana/Tasman Peninsula today as we visit a UNESCO World Heritage-listed convict site, Port Arthur. Here you'll have the opportunity to learn about Tasmania's early convict history as well as enjoy the views from the short harbour cruise. Spend the afternoon at an award-winning vineyard where we will indulge in a paired wine tasting and delicious lunch focussed on local produce.

Day Four

Today you'll be treated to one of Tasmania's best farm tours at a sixth-generation working farm. See the sheep dogs in action, learn about the family's conservation efforts, and enjoy the views of the rolling countryside. After a morning on the farm, we will visit the most photographed waterfall in Tasmania at our oldest National Park. We finish the day with a visit to a renowned wildlife sanctuary before driving back to Hobart.

Day Five

Start the day with a visit to Richmond historic township, this tiny town is packed full of convict and early settlement history. Take a stroll through the old streets or snap a photo of one of Australia's oldest bridges. We then take the Great Eastern Drive to explore the East Coast's top attraction, Wineglass Bay. Soak in the natural beauty of this National Park from the Wineglass Bay Lookout before we make our way to Launceston for the evening.

Day Six

This morning we take the 2.5-hour drive over to wulinantikala/Cradle Mountain National Park stopping along the way for morning tea at a berry farm and a wander through the "Town of Murals". Once at Cradle Mountain National Park, we'll discover the beauty of Dove Lake and Cradle Mountain on the Dove Lake Circuit walk.

Explore Cataract Gorge with a local historian and professor for a Cultural Connections walking experience at Launceston's top attraction. After our walking tour, there will be time for lunch before departing for Launceston Airport.
